***AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS***

Youth Voices Header

Dear Parents,

KMVT 15 is thrilled to be partnering with Graham Middle School’s GMS TV again this year to offer an immersive afterschool opportunity. This is the third year of MV Youth Voices, the first program of its kind anywhere in the Bay Area.

MV Youth Voices is an amazing program that provides hands-on experience in all aspects of video production. Students also learn leadership and teambuilding skills with their classmates.

Last year students produced 26 programs including, sports, mini documentaries, public service announcements and graduation  Student’s works are seen on TV via Comcast Channel 15 in Mountain View, Los Altos and Cupertino, throughout the Bay Area on Channel 99 on AT&T U-Verse ‘Mountain View”, and worldwide on Roku and our Youtube Channel   (YouTube Channel

For more than 30 years, KMVT 15 has been a deeply-cherished institution, providing training in video production, media literacy, and a voice for hundreds of thousands of San Francisco Bay area residents as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide media literacy education, hands-on training, and civic engagement. We serve as a resource to narrow the digital divide through the use of technology, and provide the community with the tools to create media and utilize technology in a socially responsible manner. The Youth Voices program runs all year long on Tues. and Thurs. directly afterschool, til 4PM. There will be some days that the program will go to 5PM.
