In 2008, KMVT began to provide its programming online through our three Web Channels! View a variety of wonderful programs produced by our community and our professional staff, as video-on-demand, right here:


KMVT Community Web Channel

The KMVT Community Channel webcasts our diverse community-produced programs. Topics range from Indian cooking, political debates, and inspirational speakers, to music and dance. Most KMVT producers and crew record at KMVT's Studio in Mountain View.

KMVT Sports Web Channel

The KMVT Sports Channel webcasts our local high school sports coverage. With the help of dedicated volunteers and interns, the staff at KMVT has covered more than 1,000 Mountain View, Los Altos and St. Francis sporting events with our mobile production unit.

KMVT Productions Web Channel

The KMVT Productions Channel showcases KMVT's award-winning, professional video production services. KMVT's experienced staff works closely with our clients to transform concepts into compelling, PBS-quality promotional documentaries and inspirational videos.

Silicon Valley Buzz

Hosted by Dr. Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at SETI. Broadcasts live on KMVT Channel 15 at 7:30pm PST. "Silicon Valley BUZz" is a monthly show featuring local experts and professionals as they discuss and debate the latest topics.


SUBMIT YOUR SHOW TO KMVT'S WEB CHANNEL

KMVT Community Producers who would like their programs to appear on YouTube must submit the following form and provide the media file for submission:

  • SUBMISSION FORM: Complete the YouTube Online Submission Form for each separate program you would like to Webcast on the KMVT YouTube Channel. Alternatively, you can submit a paper form.
  • DIGITAL FILE: You will need to convert your program to a digital file before you submit it to us. Free workshops and instructions available! We will accept quicktime (mov), (mpg), and windows media video (wmv) formats, with a file size of no more than 200MB, and program length of no longer than 30 minutes. If you have a 1-hour long program, then you will need to break it into 2 segments.
