RENTALS for KMVT Equipment & Facilities

As a local community broadcast station, KMVT offers an extensive array of television and video production rentals, including our studio, mobile production truck, video production equipment, and editing suites.

Our Production truck, which recently received a "make-over" from Mission City Signs, is available for on-site, multi-camera productions. Contact us for more details.

Facilities for rental include:

  • 900 square foot Studio/Soundstage Includes 16' lighting grid with full compliment of lighting fixtures, each dimmable; 12' x 20' Green Screen; 100% custom soundproofed walls; Three Sony DXC-327 cameras w/teleprompters; Five camera capability;; 8 tons air conditioning; (2) 16 channel mic jackfields; Audio snake;; Assortment of directional and omni-directional handheld, shotgun and lavaliere microphones; Custom-designed studio ladder; Scene dock with direct roll-up door access to outside loading dock; Sets/Flats.
  • Control Room Includes Leitch router with one master and two sub-master panels; Four computer workstations with KVM capability; DV, DVCam, S-VHS and 3/4" Umatic master and roll-in VTRs; 24-channel Mackie audio board; Denon CD/Cassette player/recorder; Audio compression; Audio FX; Pinnacle DEKO character generator; Pinnacle Aladdin special FX generator; Pinnacle Liquid Edition Nonlinear editing; Grass Valley 110 switcher; Lighting consol; Telex communications; 20 JVC and Sony monitors; Under-floor/rack air conditioned;
  • Editing/Media Suites (Digital) Two digital Pinnacle Liquid Edition nonlinear (DV/DVCam mastering); Title DEKO Pro character generator; Denon CD/Cassette player/recorder; 12-channel Mackie audio board.
  • Field Equipment Two HD Sony NX5U camcorders or Two Sony PD-170 digital camcorders. Packages include Lowell light kits, microphones, Sachtler tripods, miscellaneous support equipment.
  • Dub/Transfer Room DVD, DV/DVCam, S-VHS, VHS, 3/4" Umatic, S-VHS, and Hi-8 transfer capability.
  • Green Room for production meetings, talent, crew, etc.
  • Master Control Room for fiber-optic playback/distribution of programming.
  • 30' Mobile Production Truck fully equipped with control room and three Sony DXC-327 cameras and DVD acquisition capability.
