Carol Starbuck

 

 

Carol Starbuck is a versatile professional with a rich background spanning entrepreneurship, community service, and emergency preparedness. With an education in exercise physiology, Carol's journey includes roles in entrepreneurship and service, from owning her first of many businesses at the age of 25. Transitioning to volunteerism, she served on her first board for Deep Peninsula Dog Training Organization. She currently serves on the board of The Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade (FOLPA) since 2014, sitting as Past President and Chair of the Parade Content. Her extensive involvement in emergency services includes work with the Santa Clara County Fire Department and Office of Emergency Services (O.M.E). Carol has over a decade of service with the Los Altos Hills Community Emergency Response Team, working in tandem with The Los Altos Hills Fire Commission. A skilled television producer, Carol's projects include documentaries for The Discovery Channel and the production of the live presentation annually of the Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade for KMVT Comcast 15 (four years running). Carol is currently sitting at Co- E.D for KMVT 15 Silicon Valley Community Media & Television. She is also the Associate Producer of Game Changers Silicon Valley on Comcast channels 15-26. Known as a "Connectivity Liaison," Carol leverages her vast network to facilitate meaningful connections. Having attended the University of Southern California and the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Carol balances her professional pursuits with a passion for fitness.
